Project:Thread for Hope
When the tragic Nepal Earthquake struck, friend and social media influencer, Chriselle Lim, came to us with her concern for the lives devastated by it.
She donated her personal style wardrobe, and together, we created our first online style drop-for-a-cause where supporters could shop her closet to raise funds & awareness, to support the Shikshya Foundation Nepal, founded by designer Prabal Gurung, to rebuild communities with a focus on children’s education.

How it first started
In the beginning, there was nothing but a desire to make a difference. We had nothing. No resources. No connections. There’s a saying by Arthur Ashe: “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.”
REDTHRED’s first event was a garage sale. We then went on to create pop-up events for a cause in metropolitan cities in Southern California.
