Project:Thread for Hope

When a devastating earthquake struck Nepal, our friend and fashion influencer Chriselle Lim reached out with a simple but powerful intention: to use her platform for good.

She donated pieces from her personal wardrobe, and together we transformed them into our first style-for-impact drop β€” inviting supporters to shop her closet not just for fashion, but for change.

Proceeds supported Shikshya Foundation Nepal, founded by designer Prabal Gurung, helping rebuild communities with a focus on children’s education.

That moment became the thread of hope.

Are you a style influencer with a heart to lead change? Let’s connect and collaborate!

You provide the clothes. We do the rest. Your fans shop, your cause wins.

At REDTHRED we’re uniting humanity through Fashion, Culture & Storytelling to create a Force for Good.

How it first started

In the beginning, there was nothing but a desire to make a difference. We had nothing. No resources. No connections. There’s a saying by Arthur Ashe: β€œStart where you are, use what you have, do what you can.”

REDTHRED’s first event was a garage sale. We then went on to create pop-up events for a cause in metropolitan cities in Southern California.

They are making a finger gesture with their index finger over their lips, in a gesture indicating to be quiet. The woman has glasses and dark hair, the girl has dark hair and is sitting in a box labeled $1.00.

Connect. Collaborate. Create.

  • People shopping at a craft fair in a room with exposed brick walls and a chandelier.

    CONNECT

Why? We all have a universal need for connection and to be part of something greater than ourselves. Our world is interconnected, therefore, the wellbeing of others is the wellbeing of ourselves.

  • Close-up of a professional camera with a furry microphone cover, filming two women at an indoor event with string lights in the background, one woman in focus smiling and the other blurred.

    COLLABORATE

How? Culture shapes our actions. REDTHRED unites creatives through Fashion, the Arts, and Entertainment to spark conversations on building a better world, showcasing those leading the way and empowering others to participate.

  • People standing and interacting inside a store, with a display window featuring a white crumpled dress or sculpture and a sign that says 'GOP' outside the shop, next to a brick wall.

    CREATE

What? A network+fundraising system that builds towards a better future by organizing in-person and digital pop-up shops and auctions for a cause. Together we can create a lasting legacy.
